York Art Gallery underwent a major redevelopment and as part of the works a new mezzanine floor was installed. Piled foundations were installed to support the additional loadings from this new floor. As the works had to be carried out internally and access to the area of works was via a door opening small mini piling rigs were used to install bottom driven mini piles.
The Fairy Tale Brook was redeveloped with new models. The models needed piled foundations to support them and due to the very restricted access to the areas our 150mm diameter bottom driven steel cased mini piles where installed using a Grundomat piling hammer.
