Piles and reinforced concrete needle beams were installed and constructed beneath the original shallow foundations of a porch extension, which had been constructed on ‘soft’ made ground. The new piled underpinning foundation takes the load of the structure down to suitable bearing strata.
A bungalow suffered subsidence due to localised softening of the bearing strata due to damaged and leaking drainage. Piles and reinforce concrete needle beams were installed externally to the property to prevent further settlement of the structure.
A bungalow started to suffer with clay heave related subsidence as the surrounding tress grew larger. Augered mini piles and reinforce concrete underpinning needle beams were installed to support the external walls of the property. All the works were carried out externally which allowed the client to remain in residence during the works.
