144 No 220mm diameter bottom driven steel cased mini piles were installed to depths in the region of 10Lm though pre-excavated holes through an existing factory yard to support pilecaps on top of which a steel portal frame extension to the factory will be constructed. Three rigs were used to ensure the works were completed within three weeks.
Access to the rear of the property was only available through the existing house. Small hand carried Grundomat piling equipment was brought through the property into the rear garden allowing the foundations and extension to be constructed.

A bungalow started to suffer with clay heave related subsidence as the surrounding tress grew larger. Augered mini piles and reinforce concrete underpinning needle beams were installed to support the external walls of the property. All the works were carried out externally which allowed the client to remain in residence during the works.
